Based on my passion for recycling, I dug deeper into the issue of waste to design an educational infographic. My research led me to the conclusion that more good actually comes from reducing overall consumption than from recycling. Recycling is only the third line of defense when it comes to 'reduce, reuse, recycle.' Using a folding, interlocking paper structure, I created a double-sided poster with illustrations, facts, and graphs to encourage and lead the viewer to the conclusion that they can make an impact on the waste problem through small, doable actions.
